Grilled tiger prawns
1 kg. fresh tiger prawns from the sea, not from the farm ..
1 whole fresh garlic
10 green Thai peppercorns
½ dl. olive oil
Seasalt and freshly ground pepper
Split the prawns lengthwise, remove the rectum.
Chop the garlic into coarse pieces and mix with olive oil, crushed green peppercorns, juice and freshly grated zest of lime and stir it all well together into a dressing.
Turn the prawns into the dressing and grill them hard on a very hot grill for 2-3 minutes. so they get a nice caramelized surface and juicy in the middle.
Serve immediately while they are hot and juicy.
Buy very fresh seafood at the local fish market and get them grilled on the small restaurant located on the beach for 50 baht …
